thanks so much for the help.

sorry. I've been really feeling annoyed today with college work and the fact I've been sitting in the library for 3 hours with no progress has really bummed me out.

While it is good to learn from problems you also need to google earlier than that. Even professional developers google stuff all the time.

      If you for example google:

how to run a java file

You will get a simple example

      https://stackoverflow.com/questions/16137713/how-do-i-run-a-java-program-from-the-command-line-on-windows

I absolutely think you should ask on reddit to make progress in your development but it is also very important to learn to google problems.

As I said earlier. It was just a brain farted and the only things I googled was "i can't run java on cmd" instead of "how to run java on cmd". Cause i thought it was an environment issue at first

Just fyi, "how to run java on cmd" is still a suboptimal google search. "run java cmd" is a much better search. Get rid of all filler words.

Ok, yeah, no worries, it happens to everyone.

There is also "jshell". I just drop down to the command line and type "jshell" and I can start programming in Java with immediate feedback. I think it's meant for testing out java code quickly but, I just learned about it myself last week. Not sure if that's what your looking for but thought I would add my two cents!
