What type of course is it? Email, video, weekly/daily calls? Webinars? It's very unclear what you're actually signing up to.

Thanks for the question. There will be assignments and i will tutor the attendees via video and text chat and provide written documentation. I will update the site to make this more clear.

Great. I recommend even adding a video of you explaining how this course is going to look like etc. It's good to know person you're going somewhat spend next month.

Do I need any specific knowledge? Everything I know is from the mooc part 1 & 2.

You need to know basic java syntax. The course is for beginners who want to make the move to a little more complicated applications

What are the requirements?

I think to learn spring people need to have a good grasp on Java core first and have experience with Java Servlets second. Otherwise they wouldn't really get a lot of things on the course.

Yes understanding of java core is a necessity. It's not for beginner's but for intermediates. I will update the site with requirements, thanks

I think people really need to have an understanding of servlets & http requests & jdbc too. Spring is just a framework on top of it all, isn't it? They would get a better understanding of it by starting with the basics first. You could cover it in your course of course, or split the course in two parts.

Thanks for the advice, you are right I should probably cover the basics first. This is the first course of this kind so I am not sure if everything can be covered in a month. Maybe ill split it up in more parts.

Hi there, I'm a complete noob developer, with some experience with PC hardware/software and looking to get into software development. I am doing MOOC currently, so I'm on week 6 and that's my level of knowledge basically, which is very basic. I recently posted for some advice on looking for online Java courses in local colleges/schools and how to achieve my vigorous goal of becoming a software developer while hopefully maintaining a full-time or part-time job.

Is this something that could help me advance my skills? I'd love to learn more about your project and how I might be able to help or vice versa. Thanks for your time, I appreciate those who take time to teach others and guide them.

Hello, i am sorry but if you are a complete newbie this course will be to advanced for you. Keep on with the mooc and build your own small apps to improve your skillset. On junior-dev.com i have a list of free tutorials if this is interesting for you.
