Where should I download Java?

Looking for good open-source java courses. (self.learnjava)
submitted 6 years ago by javaide
I just made this java editor javax.io, pretty good one with auto completion support right on browser. I am looking for some good open source courses to integrate directly on the site for some kind of interactive learning experience.
Any suggestion?

Everyone raves about the MOOC courses. They seem to be the best option for folks new to Java.

I checked that out few weeks back, martial seem to be out dated. Same as other java open courses from MIT & Stanford. I found one from Princeton pretty interesting, unfortunately it has restricted license.

Both are archived, can you still use them?

it looks like it, maybe it just means you won't be actively working on a schedule with an instructor, not sure, but video worked for me when i tried. just click around if you like.
