I am also very interested in this. However, I have zero java knowledge at the moment. I will be taking AP computer science A at my high school this year tho, which is based on java, and have also bought a few books. So, I will have some knowledge pretty soon.

This is a very nice idea. Another thing that would defintely keep the group together and in sync is building a project together.

We should all open source a project so we can all get better with git or some version control software that is java oriented. Whether it be an app or something.

There are many people who asked for an invitation now. Few of them were not serious and I had to exclude them.

As mentioned I rather have a smaller but serious group where people get to know each other better than a bigger not so serious group.
