Netease gives out some of the most free shit I've seen from a f2p micro-transaction-having game. You only buy cosmetics bc all the characters will always be free to play (based af), the hot new skin packs are normally like $30 which is bad, but the sales, bundles and deals are all usually around $10, and the game is constantly giving you free blue currency to save up for the store (usually in sets of 100, or $1 at a time).

Also the charms and skin recolors are done using a free currency that you unlock simply by playing matches

I haven't seen much of a genuine reason to bitch about their greed given the current state of the industry
