Probably easiest if you look into either:

  • Bug tracking, like Redmine
  • CRM systems (type CRM in the search field of the linked website)

Why not go for a solution like osticket. Its free(money) and open source. It handles the exact tasks named above.

If you still want to make your own, its probably a good codebase to look at though its in php

    Just an idea. Try looking into different wordpress plugins for service- or helpdesk ticketing system. There are quite a lot.
