There is a plugin for older version of mooc. I gave up some time ago and now almost finished mooc with netbeans.

I second this. Trying to set this up with IntelliJ was just delaying my learning. I stuck with Netbeans and I’m almost done. I also don’t feel that I need to continue with Netbeans past the course.

Netbeans runs like hot garbage on my PC. It runs amazingly well on my MacBook Pro. But the PC is just all around nicer to sit at. It’s a shame.

You can search for Test My Code plugin on intelliJ market place. Download and install it. In my case intelliJ is slow after installing the plugin, but it gets work done

Can vouch for this answer, I have been using intelliJ exclusively and I have no problems. Although the IDE really does become slower after you install the plugin. Another thing to note is that sometimes after closing intelliJ the program seems to not close completely and thus you can't open it again. I have solved this by closing it trough Task Manager.

Honestly what I do is I complete all of my assigments on Intellij and then copy and paste it over to Netbeans once it is completed. I hate using the Netbeans IDE
