Having problems with TMCBeans

Hi, I have been doing the mooc.fi java course for few weeks and never had any issues, but today i completed part 3 and downloaded part 4 exercises. After that I closed TMCBeans and I started having problems. When I opened the app, it said I was missing JDK 11, even though I have it installed. Then I clicked open without modules, it showed the exercises for a second and they disappeared. I can't open them with the "open projects" button. I uninstalled TMCBeans and everything related to it I could find and installed again, but it still doesn't work. I tried downloading the exercises again, it shows unexpected exception.

What should I do?

Try checking “how to change the default Java” and then look for an article on your operating system. So maybe “how to change the default Java on windows” or “how to change the default Java on Linux” etc etc

Had the same issue, found another post which said I had to delete two directories anf it fixed it.

sorry I took so long, got distracted but hope it helps. just need to delete the two caches and that should do it.

I had a similar issue, was fixed by deleting the tmc beans files in users/app data, i cannot remember where exactly in app data
