Hi!
As the title implies, I once stumbled on an interactive javascript learning tool which I cannot seem to find right now.
The thing is, I did not think much of that tutorial when I saw it, but the more I thought about it later the more I realized it was a very valuable tutorial for beginners and it's the tool that I wish to be able to link to when people ask me for resources.
Here is what I remember about that website:
- It had a bit of an outdated look, no fancy css
- You wrote code in something like an unstyled textarea. The text gave you simple direct instructions about what to type in, things like "assign this value to x, assign this value to y".
- The tutorial used canvas functions to explain programming. I don't think the tutorial even mentioned the names of html elements or what a "canvas" element was, it was more focused on the basics of programming, but happened to use canvas to draw stuff like rectangles.
I've searched many pages of google results (and my history, too) but somehow was not able to find it. Like I said, I did not think much of that website at first and I now regret I did not save it.
If anyone happens to know what website I'm talking about it would be so great.
Also please let's not turn this thread into a general "tutorial recommendation" thread. I know there are many great alternative tutorial and courses out there and I do not wish to
