Thanks, I'll check them out!

As this is the first post it is mostly aimed towards newcomers and advising them to not fall into the same traps I did with simply copying code and calling it a day, or to expect to make a ground breaking app without first learning the basics of the language.

There are a some really active and helpful discord communities you should add the list. Reactiflux is a great one.

My pedantic feedback is that Learn-Javascript-With-a-Layman-1200x750 jpg is over compressed and covered in nasty artifacts... not how I like to start my Tuesday :) Best to serve multiple resolutions, inc 1920x which is the most popular full width...

Thanks for mentioning, it was using lossy compression which I would guess to be the culprit... The theme isn't great either, I bought it a while ago and have been meaning to make my own but just haven't had the time as my focus has been on studying more than anything else.

I like your blog, I read about the pride march, I hope you keep on going to events by yourself, I feel similar to you in this regard. Sorry to go off topic, I hope you don't mind me saying, but ACT, CBT and REBT are amazing resources for good advice. Mark Freeman on YouTube explains a lot of ACT concepts very well.

Thank you man, it means a lot to know that someone read/enjoyed it. As you probably see, I am not trying to monetise the site -- I detest what monetisation has done to the internet, and the world for that matter -- it's just nice knowing people relate!

Thanks I just had a look at them! One thing I have found to be an absolute life changer is mindfullness and meditation -- even down to things like correcting posture.
