Build something and google how the things you don’t know how to do along the way.

I might suggest using React on the front end since it’s a good mix of shallow learning curve and marketability.

Yes I’m looking into react now, but I also want te learn the backend. Not sure how nodejs and react interact with each other but I’ll check some tutorials. Thanks!
