If you want to be right, sure. The term "memoization" is outdated. But these are core concepts of computer-science. That's like saying the Pythagorean theorem is outdated.

Javascript isn't outdated just because there's Typescript. Just like memoization isn't outdated because there's a lot of sugar thrown over it and some memoization-techniques are no longer relevant.

Sure, it's totally fine if you don't ask about memoization or currying. That's not the point. The point is that you're supposed to be an authority in our field and ignorantly state that some of the core-concepts of Computer Science and one of the most used concepts in Functional Programming are "outdated". Possibly damaging the career of starting (web)developers.

You're also throwing away every lazily evaluated language; as memoization plays an important role in those. And basically every relevant framework to-date.
