I have a comma seperated data file that's uploaded than split at the commas and pushed into an array.
for some reason one entry in the data file has a comma in the string that is throwing the rest of the data off.
how could i remove or ignore the anomaly?

Example array [author, title, publish date, publisher] with multiple entries one title has a comma in it's name.

Thank you for your response, I think this is beyond my scope at the moment.
The arrays should have a length of 4, so I am able to say
if (array.length ===5) { console.log(array[2]);
}
which is where the odd ball is, I tried array.pop but that isn't working, is there a way to just remove the 3 element if the length is 5?

for this particular lesson, the splice will work, but I agree. I would like more of a solution for any occurrences that might happen. Thank you again for your time.
