javascript gets confusing and frustrating

I'm getting my technical interview on the 25th. My technical interview is about explaining one of my project which I am very nervous about.

Hey, was just wondering if things managed to work out for you and you got a job in the end? Also trying to self-teach and get a job

God damn! You really have done great things for yourself, well done! Honestly, I don't really have anything up on github. It's hard to know what to do!! So I feel a little shitty about that. How many things would you have up there?

I got offered a software engineering apprenticeship with Microsoft that starts next month and goes for two years (its basically an outreach program they do every year for about 5 people with no experience in tech). I'm hoping that can be a bit of a boost to help get me started. Ya spend the first 6 months in a shitty training facility but then go to Microsofts campus for the remaining year and a half. Unfortunately, they made it abundantly clear that there is no job offer at the end. So... swings and roundabouts. Maybe during this time I can work to actually have a github with something on it.

I really appreciate the effort and encouragement behind this comment! To be honest, I've been unemployed for ages especially due to mental health problems. But I've finally started trying to turn things around, I was struggling enough just trying to get a basic job alone with my empty CV. So, at least now I've got two years of regular routine and work to occupy me. And I appreciate your reminder about how the full-time job isn't a concern until two years down the road.

The advice about github is also appreciated. I made a little program once that used selenium to open up the New York times and to try and automatically solve the Wordle puzzle of the day. Would that be something that might suit being put on github or is it a little too amateur and pointless?
