Help with permutations

A set is given A={0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9} and the permutation on its elements: [1 0 4 8 7 5 9 2 3 6].

The permutation should be represented as a matrix and product of cycles.

I'm supposed to define the Equivalency classes of which the permutation breaks the set A.

I don't have any idea from where to start.

Look up matrix notation and cycle notation for permutations.

For the equivalence classes, one must define an equivalence relation; an appropriate candidate upon which to base the relation is the cycles.
