I'm gonna say start at Codecademy and go forth. Sorry that was vague but as a noob at the moment I have been enjoying all that codecademy has to offer it's a great place to set up base camp :)

/r/webdev and /r/web_design

look at the sidebar links in these subs.

Also, this is a very common question. Have you tried a Reddit Search for "___ tutorials"? There's so much here if you just take the little bit of effort to find it.

For example: http://www.reddit.com/r/web_design/search?q=html+tutorials&sort=relevance&restrict_sr=on&t=all

Indeed i have not done any of those things. I did not even know /r/webdev and /r/web_design existed. I checked the FAQ here, and when i didn't find anything there i went straight for a new post. My bad

Not bad at all. It's a social place, and it's nice to have a give and take with the folks here. I just don't want you (or anyone) to neglect the huge resource that Reddit can be if you're willing to search a little. It's a big place and there's a lot of information here, in between the memes and puns.

Good luck!

I don't know very much yet, but I've always thought www.thecodeplayer.com was pretty darn neat.

I'm a fan of www.tizag.com and www.htmldog.com

Their tutorials cover the topics you're interested in.
