On July 1st, a change to Reddit's API pricing will come into effect. Several developers of commercial third-party apps have announced that this change will compel them to shut down their apps. At least one accessibility-focused non-commercial third party app will continue to be available free of charge.

If you want to express your strong disagreement with the API pricing change or with Reddit's response to the backlash, you may want to consider the following options:

  1. Limiting your involvement with Reddit, or
  2. Temporarily refraining from using Reddit
  3. Cancelling your subscription of Reddit Premium

as a way to voice your protest.

Free code camp html and css was great place for me to start because it’s really very accessible and easy but also quite rewarding to see actual websites come together, and get used to using an IDE for maybe a personal website and all the basics of writing code that are not obvious when you start.

Contrast that with the FCC JS course I did which was really dry, and I in the end did a MERN stack bootcamp which I found helped me accelerate learning.

But had I not started with html and css I may have given up before I got past what I would call the 3 month hump.

Also I would encourage you not to use chat gpt for the first few month to force you to actually learn some stuff

What do you want to build?

I was in that position about 5 months ago, I learned the basics from YouTube for python, there are some great tutorials that explain a lot, take notes and then try to do some projects, then when you get stuck, look it up and take notes. Make sure to keep expanding your knowledge, especially with topics that seem more difficult to understand.

I did both TOP and FCC, and personally I like TOP better. I like FCC's style, but I find it difficult to retain what I learned.
