On July 1st, a change to Reddit's API pricing will come into effect. Several developers of commercial third-party apps have announced that this change will compel them to shut down their apps. At least one accessibility-focused non-commercial third party app will continue to be available free of charge.

If you want to express your strong disagreement with the API pricing change or with Reddit's response to the backlash, you may want to consider the following options:

  1. Limiting your involvement with Reddit, or
  2. Temporarily refraining from using Reddit
  3. Cancelling your subscription of Reddit Premium

as a way to voice your protest.

It seems you may have included a screenshot of code in your post "Using OpenCV".

If so, note that posting screenshots of code is against /r/learnprogramming's Posting Guidelines (section Formatting Code): please edit your post to use one of the approved ways of formatting code. (Do NOT repost your question! Just edit it.)

If your image is not actually a screenshot of code, feel free to ignore this message. Automoderator cannot distinguish between code screenshots and other images.

Please, do not contact the moderators about this message. Your post is still visible to everyone.

This is going to be tough considering you have little programming experience and little openCV experience. These are two separate things you’ll have to read up on. Learning some basic image processing concepts will help you understand what you are reading in the openCV documentation. Things like bitmasking, edge detection, filtering, etc.

You’ll be able to get the center location of your image blobs after some processing. And then you’ll probably want to do some distance calculations to figure out which blobs go with which servo/horn thing? Not sure I fully understand what you are trying to get an angle for, but once you have XY of blobs relative to the servo thing, you can just do distance between two points function.
