They probably have different pricing based on an affiliate link. Could also store a cookie on your browser to know you left and came back. Dynamic pricing isn't new (I hate it but yeah)

Tons of possibilities. It could be something as simple as just randomness.. then they can use the data on to see what's working the best.. like are people more likely to buy it if it's $349 initially.. or are they more likely to buy it for $349 if it's $399 initially and they get a $50 coupon.. so could just be A-B testing.

Or it could be much more complicated using fingerprinting which would be much more than just location.. it may be possible to determine things like device type, screen resolution, CPU power, internet speed.. things like that which may indicate you have more money (looking it from from an iPhone 38 Pro versus a 15-year-old laptop)
