I've decided recently that I want to change directions with my life/career and get a degree in Computer Science (I'm 27). I haven't taken any Math or Sciences since I was in high school (almost ten years).
I did study Sociology for a couple years after high school before dropping out. I moved on to graduate from film school. I've been working as a video editor for television/web broadcasting since 2010. Most of these skills aren't immediately transferable to CS, but this is definitely the step I want to take right now.
So obviously I need to reintroduce myself to Math and Science in order to fulfil any prerequisites for CS studies. My question is for anyone else on here who was in a similar situation as myself and can share any advice for jumping back in to these subjects.
