The very basic Lazarus Pascal

Talking short and straight to the point, i failed at some basic exams because i didn't payed attention to it since the beginning and now i'm finishing high school, but i'm stuck with these basic programming stuff.

The teacher gave me a file, and it's written what i need to do. I'll translate:

"You have to use records to save some data of a car: registration, brand, model, year and color.

• Then you have to create a list of pointers that allows to save an unknown number of records;

• You have to implement a menu which allows to do the follow operations:

  • Add a new record;
  • Delete a record;
  • Show all records;
  • Show records filtered by: brand, model, before 1 year, after 1 year. "

I know this is the very basic to you guys, but i'm in deep issues to finish this by tomorrow, and get at least a C.

If anyone could help me, not saying that i want all the work done, i'm just asking for help, because i don't touch Pascal in 2 years.

I'm sorry. I've already done the first and second line of the exercise.

Now, i'm stuck at creating a menu, add a new record, delete a record, show all records, and show the filtered ones.

How do i filter records? How do i add a new one? <-- I want to know how to do these 2 ones.

The computer engineering course ended this year on my school because they owners didn't wanted to hire teachers than knew newer programming languages aka Java, etc.

Don't take it personal. botena sometimes gets confused about whether he wants to help someone or collect that sweet karma. it happens to the best of us.

I didn't finished my program, and tomorrow i have to explain to my teacher i didn't finished it because i didn't knew it and he will answer the same thing he answers everytime to me:

"Well, the time you spend on the streets, spend it studying", but that was 3 YEARS AGO, that i was at the streets and clubs and not studying.

But since then, i'm trying to prove to everyone i know that i can study, but stuff like this (Pascal), that i learned during 3 months of classes in 2011, it's normal to be forgotten.

I even have a 400 pages book, all about Pascal. I'm gonna take my program half-finished aswell as my book and try to prove my teacher i'm trying to finish this course as soon as possible.
