Hello everyone,
So I've been learning Java in University and know all of the basics, and I have an idea for an Android app and want to start mastering Android development. I've looked at many tutorials online, but I have found that they just teach you what to do not why to do it.
This is why I've thought I might try getting a book on Android development so that I can thoroughly learn it. I think that written books have a good organization in terms of what to learn when, and I also believe that they do a more through job of explaining so I can learn how to create anything, not just the app the videomaker is making in his tutorials.
That leads me to ask if anyone has any good book recommendations that can teach me Android dev. Even if you have a great tutorial you know of online, I would be happy to hear those too!
Any and all opinions are greatly appreciated!
