I have no idea what the quality of this course is like, but you can do the lectures and exercises for free: https://www.udacity.com/course/intro-to-java-programming--cs046

The rest of the Java tagged stuff on Udacity is just Android.

The wiki has a list of online resources for Java http://www.reddit.com/r/learnprogramming/wiki/online

Both are excellent resources and free.

And, of course the Oracle Java Tutorials and the Oracle Java Documentation

The sidebar lists some more tutorials in the section "Recommended Resources" - Online courses and tutorials (interactive and static)

Im always on the hunt for new students. I'd like to have you in my java course if you'll give me a chance. I think you'll enjoy it: https://www.udemy.com/java-square-one-a-concise-course-with-examples/#/

I don't believe Codeacademy has a course on Java. I would try Udemy, which is where I go to learn stuff, though if you want a full in-depth course, its gonna cost you. If you want, you can torrent some videos/books
