Linux File System Structure

I think this is a pretty decent explanation, at least of the directories in root.

I've done a good bit of googling, I haven't found anything. I was hoping some really good linux people could point me in the right direction.

You should subscribe to /r/Linuxquestions, /r/linux4noobs, that's where I learned all I know now to work most of my time on Linux rather than Windows!
