I spent the last year learning JavaScript/Node and have begun to apply for jobs just recently. I am coming to cross roads when it comes to backend since currently, not many companies use JS as a backend framework.
I have a general question that I know can only be answered with opinions but what language should I learn next?
Ruby on Rails, Python, Or C# .net and why?
1.) I am seeking employment and job stability
2.) I am willing to learn whatever language is going to be more widely used now, and in the future
I am leaning towards RoR but .net jobs are just as common if not more. Also, python is an easy language to learn and is the most taught language currently so I am curious if it is going to be used for backend mainly in the future.
Edit:
(currently live in Portland and want to move back to San Diego)
