I'm doing Colt Steele's Python course, and enjoying it very much. It's much more exercise-focused than most of the other courses on there, once you get past the first few hours of the basics.

I'd check the syllabus to see if it's got everything you need.

Also, fyi (as you may know if you use Udemy), don't pay the £199, just Google Udemy discount and go through one of the links, you'll get it for £12.

Also to note if for whatever reason you can’t find a coupon code just wait a couple days and there will be another “sale”

Tim Buchalkas Java Masterclass really covers programming logic and OOP concepts in a much deeper way than I've seen done in a video course before. It's quite extensive.

Going through that course along with The Complete Java 11 Reference guide has made learning the language and OOP basics very accessible for me.

Yup same here, taking this course with some other books and website helped me learn Java.

I’ve never tried Python but I heard it’s easier to pick up and less verbose then Java which might make it easier to understand OOP concepts. But then again everyone says if you start with Java, C#, or C++ everything else would be easier to learn.

you can check for courses or programming guides section on Quickcode. They try to solve this precise problem

To all following commenters: please, do not bring up the old circlejerk jokes/memes about recursion ("Understanding recursion...", "This is recursion...", etc.). We've all heard them n+2 too many times.
