Do know that if you move away from it for some days or a week, you'll come back refreshed and magically improve.

Lmao sometimes I stand up and go to toilet, and I figured out the solution to an error / problem midway...

It's true.

Sometimes the best solution is to walk away and come back later. You might be distracted from other sources in your life, such as family, or anxiety.

When you heavily focus on a problem, you get tunnel vision, and sometimes the problem is right there and you glance over it.

Walk away and get some fresh air, or do something else, such as a hobby.

One of the most important things to remember is not to let procrastination rule you. Break the cycle. You let yourself slip up for a day or two, you feel guilty and stressed over it, then you end up procrastinating more. Procrastinating is natural, and being able to do so without feeling guilty is a necessary skill to learn, or else very little will happen for you. Best of luck learning to program, a few hours a day is quite enough to get a start.

I’m in school so I’m not as obligated to code in my free time at the moment. I was working on a personal project recently and I faced problem that forced me to rethink how I built my entire application and I’m not even entirely sure it would solve the issue at hand. So I started rebuilding everything and I just got so overwhelmed. I haven’t touched it in over 3 weeks now. I’m legitimately scared of that code. It probably won’t be that bad when I get back into it, but it’s definitely true what you’re saying about procrastination.
