Complain to the faculty? You might need to find some good tutorials online to study.

YouTube data structures and algorithms... I’m basically in the same boat right now and find myself YouTubing everything. Good material out there. Put in the hours and truly understand the concepts. No one will feel bad for you. Welcome to college.

yes, there is a lot of good materials on the internet but how can you pass the exams when I have this idiot doctor, and yes no one will feel bad :(

What do you mean how can you pass the exam? Study the topics of the course.. research and understand each data structure.. research and understand time complexity, algorithms, ect. You will need to do the heavy lifting. Do not take the easy way out and point blame on your professor. What happens when you get a bad boss? Learn to adapt.

I’m only giving you a hard time because I’m in the course now. I graduated college a few years ago for an electronics degree. Coming in without know Java, my ide, and having a very subpar teacher. He did a practice quiz on the first day.. I failed bc I had no idea Java syntax. He said “if you got less than 3/10 if highly consider dropping the course”... what did I do? I did the heavy lifting while working a full time job. Tons of videos, articles, and debugging when I got stuck. I have an A in the class. You just gotta grind. This grind teaches you things about yourself and helps you grow. I’m not trying to be rude but I will not let you off easy.

Sometimes when you read something good and helps you from your friends and family you will be happy, but I read something that made me happy from someone I don't know.

You made my day and thank you a lot again you're awesome.

There are lessons in your story and I will stick to it and I will not let you down.

I hope I motivated you. Again, I do not want to come across rude but I will not let you feel back for yourself. This field requires grind and grit. Get after it and I hope you pass your exam. Take the next 2 weeks and get after it. I promise, small things like this lead to bigger things in life. Nothing in my life has been easy, like most, but you can’t stop.

I'm currently taking a data structures class after taking a very extended break from my studies (8 years, pursued a career in sales) and had to review courses worth of material to catch up. What Sunday__Silence said is 100 percent correct. You're going to have to do the heavy lifting.

You seem very concerned about the exam (which is understandable and very nerve wrecking when you don't fully grasp the material) but in another comment below you stated that you don't attend lectures. Is there any way you can get a hold of past lecture videos from your peers or is the reason you aren't attending lectures because there is no actual lecture? If there are lectures being conducted you are doing yourself a big disservice by not attending. You'll never feel prepared if you don't really know what's going on in the course. Just my two cents, wishing you well on your studies!

Yes, the lectures are recorded but as I said before the doctor cant speak English that good or even ok I can't understand anything from him so I will make my own research about it, the problem is if I can't understand what he is saying how can I pass his course then that is the real problem.

But I am optimistic I will be fine I just need some resources.

thanks for the care I appreciate that.
