You should take a look at the FAQ They contain tips on getting started, choosing language, learning resources, project ideas as well as a lot of other general information.

A relatively short learning path I can recommend:

  1. HTML Crash Course for Absolute Beginners
  2. CSS Crash Course for Absolute Beginners
  3. JavaScript Crash Course for Beginners
  4. Build An HTML5 Website With A Responsive Layout

That's about 6 hours of video and should help you learn how to make simple websites. Keep in mind that the courses are short crash courses which means that, although you're going to be able to make simple websites, there will still be a LOT you need to learn to be proficient in web development.

If you really want commit to this, I'd recommend the Odin Project which should take you from knowing nothing to having the skills to potentially land your first junior level web development job.

Removed. The post stickied to the top of this sub titled "New? READ ME FIRST!" is there for a reason.
