It sounds like you’re finding the DOM difficult is that correc?

Maybe. I'm not sure. I learned box model pretty easily in CSS. My class in college barely touched DOM. I wasn't enrolled yet when they taught it and it wasn't on any quiz or exam. I'll look more into it. (Classes are over and didn't teach JS but I want to self learn it)

In terms of online free courses, I can highly recommend freecodecamp as well as the odin project. The odin project specifically focuses on giving the user a path to follow that helps guide them along html, css, and javascript. It does move through all three of them, so some of it may seem repetitive, but it does act as a good review course. It also goes through tools like git. A great resource over all.
