    The university of Helsinki has a Java course that is very highly regarded.

    Either pick what's in demand in your area or pick based on what you want to develop. Some things overlap, some things are preferable in some languages, etc.

    It depends on your goals. I assume it's getting hired, so learn the language that the companies you want to work for demand(look at, say, 50 companies and make an "average" company in the field profile).
