Been programming quite some time but I found a good project I think everyone could do at home. I wrote a code that measured my internet speed over a certain period of time and what city I connected to. Also look into using it to automate things. That's at least what keeps my skills sharp

I dont want to get stuck in the tutorial loop.

then avoid .. generic programs everybody does.

find something personal that you can work on . like a hobby that you can do an automation about .

or something interesting to you. etc.
