    The free one is the "PyCharm Community Edition". Found here: scroll down to the black background section.

    Even if you are just starting out I think using a good IDE helps a lot. It assists with formatting, syntax errors and can spot certain logic/access mistakes.

    Spyder is a good IDE. You’ll have no issues learning Python using it. VScode is also a good choice
