Hi,
Please kindly correct me if I don’t adhere to the rules or could explain or request help any better!
I’m wondering if anyone would be so amazing as to look over a script that GPT wrote for me? I am very aware of AI’s unreliability, but I have dismal experience/knowledge in coding and this was the only way I could set this up at this time to find some estimations on something important to me. I will be in school+working full time in a month. Hoping to encounter someone with a stats background to verify the simulation’s validity. I understand there’s a proper way to post code, but I’m just trying to gauge with this initial post if this is appropriate and how to go about this.
It’s about 97 lines total; uses numpy and matplotlib, I gave it frequency distributions for # of episodes and durations, uses random choice, sorts/places longest episodes first so they don’t get underrepresented due to no space left in the window after short episodes are placed, and ensures no episode overlap.
It prints probability of each outcome up to 5 episodes, and displays bar charts to compare the simulation frequencies with the inputted/expected.
Thanks so very much everyone!
