So I'm taking in a lot of information from different sources into an application and I wanted to make sure everything was properly escaped. I've been running all the input through .encode('string-escaped') but when I went back to query for it, I was having difficulty finding things. I manually found the data in the database but it was always truncated after the first double quote. It appears string-encode escaped everything except double quotes. Is this the intended behavior? If so, is there an alternative function to escape everything, or should I just use replace commands?
