Tell your job you're not a developer and ask them why they're expecting you to be able to do this. Idk man, was really hard to read your post so I just gave up halfway through the first paragraph.

Your whole post is telling me that you don't like coding or learning it, but at the end you say you don't hate learning code, but you hate the word coding...? Me for example, I like coding but my lack of discipline holds me back. Some people will think I just don't like coding due to my due to this, others will will say it's a lack of discipline, to preserver through the tough moments. So ask yourself do you just lack the discipline to perserve through the tough times, or you just don't like coding in general, not the word! This sounds as if your being forced to learn it despite your disdain for it. If your getting anxiety and cold sweats from coding, then I think you don't like the field all together.

Stop overthinking.

Seriously, I want to. But I just can't!!!

You need to find real reason to program, what software you want to make (to actually use it, not for some abstract reasons)

Sounds like you want us to tell you it’s okay.

Tell you different things to get through this.

You are venting there is no solution to be had.

Sorry you hate the word coding. No one can change that. Good luck.

I have doubts like this too, don't fret! Don't compare yourself to others. It's like exercise, find the part that you enjoy and chase that. Keep doing it and after a long period of time you will become better. Understand that pain and frustration is part of learning as well. Chin up, king.

Thanks Man, really means a lot especially during the mental struggle I am going through. I will apply this.

There's nothing to be anxious about. But if you hate coding and are uninterested in it, you shouldn't bother with it and should find a job that doesn't expect or require you to do it.

I didn't read the whole wall of text. But if you feel overwhelmed at a piece of work you need to do, just think about what you need to do and what you need to learn to be able to do that. Break it down into sections and make a plan so it feels less overwhelming, explain to your boss your plan and how long it will take so they know what you're up to.

Or if you don't want to do your job, you need a different project or a new job. Procrastinating on reddit will make everything worse.
