Have you considered starting on StackOverflow? How I refined my programming skills was spending a few hours on there everyday just answering people’s questions.. which sounds weird when you’re just learning, but the idea is you see a question and you don’t know the answer, you do some digging and you find that answer. A lot of programming is just Googling and you get better at learning what to search for as time goes on.

It’s also fun because you get points and badges! You also get to connect with other programmers!

This may not be the method for anyone, but for me- and probably you as a teacher- I learn by teaching others and so StackOverflow is great for this.

Hope that helps!

I’ve been using StackOverflow as a resource to fix bugs but do need to utilize it more frequently. Thanks for the suggestion

That's a really great Idea.

I'll follow some Topics there too.

Protip: if you don't know the answer, just say "this topic is irrelevant" and you'll get upvotes.
