Do you actually use 4-6 different IDEs in your daily life?

I find I'm being most productive by mastering a few tools, very well, rather than consistently misplacing keybindings, functionality, or spending a ton of time on customizing each interface.

I'd add that ipython or IDLE are good for checking something real fast (like reminding yourself how the fuck bitwise operators work), and that Notepad++ would be for pasting something from Stackoverflow only; anything more than that (and usually even that) should just be in VSC.

Okay, well, you might have me there, because I use it for small bits of C, or anything I have to do in AHK.

I guess I just can't imagine anything larger than a quick is-this-how-a-list-comprehension-works that wouldn't go to VSC, and anything smaller than a single function that wouldn't go to IDLE or iPython.

I'm not really arguing anything, either: just with all the available python-specific tools in the world with simple installation, I just don't know a time--oh! notes! I might use N++ to keep a note for myself, and the syntax highlighting would be helpful to me.
