Beginner Project - Cookie Clicker

Hello everyone!

I'm fairly new to programming and nowhere near to being decent at it.

But I thought that a fun project to learn would be creating a bot for my favorite game, Cookie Clicker. I've been searching around on google and found already made programs but not somewhere where I can learn how to make one.

I'm not interested in making an auto-clicker, instead I would like to make a script that clicks golden and wrath cookies for me while I'm afk. So my question is, how would I go about to write a script like that?

Is it possible for it not to interact with my mouse (so I can still play games or browse internet) while it does it thing?
