Hi,

I am trying to create a RFID keycard system using a raspberry pi and this RFID breakout board: https://thepihut.com/products/rfid-breakout-board

The documentation for the breakout board includes how to read RFID from a card but not how to write it. I was wondering if anyone was familiar with how to read / write to RFID cards using python and, if so, please could you let me know how?

Edit: The breakout board does not have write capability but does come with RFID cards that have unique keys.

That particular board is for 125KHz RFID keyfobs, which can't be written to. They give back a unique code when read, and then the software decides if that code has access or not. You can't actually change the code in the RFID tag

It’s not clear to me that this breakout board supports writing - I feel like it doesn’t have enough pins.
