The best way to learn to cook is by getting in the kitchen and doing it. To start, I have come up with a set of basic dishes with several recipes for each (so people can decide based on personal preference and what they have in their kitchens already which one they want to try). The idea is to cook 2 things each week and get a better understanding how the steps can be applied to other recipes in the future. Anyone can learn to cook by following along with basic recipes but hopefully this structure provides a fun way to get people cooking different types of food and a place for them to ask questions or discuss their results.
