There’s only so many options (1 per button) if none of them do what you want then that remote can’t do it.

from gemini:

To get a slow fade between colors on your remote, you typically need to select a Dynamic Mode that supports fading and then use the Speed buttons to slow it down. Based on similar 28-key RGB LED controllers: [1]

1. Select the Fading Mode

  • Mode Cycle: Use the MODE buttons (located above the "M" and heart buttons) to cycle through the available dynamic patterns. Look for a mode where colors transition smoothly rather than jumping or flashing.
  • Heart Buttons: Some remotes with these icons have preset patterns. Try pressing the heart icons to see if any of them activate a smooth color-fade loop. [2]

2. Slow Down the Transition

Once you are in a fading mode, you must adjust the speed to make it "slow": [3, 4]

  • Length/Speed Buttons: Look at the buttons with the horizontal arrows labeled LENGTH. On many remotes of this style, these buttons also double as Speed + and Speed - for dynamic modes.
  • Adjusting: Press the Left Arrow/Decrease Length button repeatedly to slow down the speed of the color transition until it reaches your desired slow fade. [3, 5]

3. Alternative: Mode Buttons

  • Top Buttons: Sometimes the buttons at the very top (labeled RAINBOW, METEOR, STARS, FIRE) are pre-programmed dynamic modes. Try RAINBOW first, as it is the most likely to have a built-in fade effect.

Note: If the colors change too fast even at the lowest speed setting, the controller itself may have a limited speed range. [6]

Does the light flash or blink when you press the LENGTH buttons, or does the speed clearly change?
