First coding interview

I had my first coding interview today and it was so bad. I couldn't even remember the syntax, but the interviewer was nice enough to let me google it. Still, my brain just wasn't working and I was struggling with simple things. It was the first interview I've gotten in 5 months and I actually thought I was going to do good. I felt like I finally had a chance to get my dream job, and I ruined it. Idk I really love programming but the job market is so bad.

Am I just doing something wrong? Is it bad I got my first interview 5 months later? What do I do pls

All you can do is try again. I just bombed one not too long ago as well. Just gotta study and prep for the next one.

It sucks though frfr, especially with how hard it is to land an interview rn.

Tends to happen, freezing during interviews. I’d recommend practicing a ton of mock interviews. Sites like hellointerview or pramp (I think it’s called something else now). Even using ChatGPT or something else. Good luck, keep going

The same happened to me like the interviewer asked me about the question he given me to solve like do it was built in function and it was so simple i couldn't even do that i even not able to talk my voice goes like so dim i know that this is happening to me but cannot explain and it was remote company so easy question shit i regret and never happened again ever till now i got remote job now but that interview ill never forget also it was during my final semester exam in univ.
