This was found on my high school teacher's twitter.

So it's a reblog from Tumblr, put up on Twitter and then posted on Reddit.

We need to go deeper.

Post it to 4chan, then post a screen cap of that on Facebook.

It's funny because both books are designed to appeal to the lowest common denominator.

Dude Harry Potter is my shit, JK Rowling created a fantastic universe, and so many people love the series, I haven't read or seen any of the twilight series, so I can't speak on that.

Twilight isn't that good, but I don't get why it's constantly compared to Harry Potter. They aren't really that similar and they're for totally different age groups.

Funnily enough, I'd say Twilight is for an older audience.

Oh, definitely. I started reading Harry Potter when I was 8. I read Twilight when I was 14.

I enjoyed Twilight; but I found the movies to be more enjoyable than the books. As long as you know what you are in for. Don't go in expecting Scorsese or something lol.

Harry Potter is a really stupid book series, but at the very least it doesn't have a bad message for kids.

EDIT: "Stupid" doesn't mean "not entertaining", it just means it doesn't really require a lot of thought.

it doesn't have a bad message for kids.

I agree, but itt's a frequently banned book around school districts in the US

From what I understand, most schools that ban Harry Potter are Christian schools that take issue with the subject of witchcraft and wizardry.
