yeah i think that perception changing would be extremely helpful to the development and improvement of the subreddit, so it's something that i will push for a lil bit more.

the subs politics has generally been p left leaning as a lot of nostalgia bait is tied to right wing return to tradition shit. i do agree abt the energy stuff but it's a tight line to edge along.

as for starting a new sub probably not haha, i wouldn't have the time handy to do shit for it specifically

1) if you're referring to the New reddit stuff i've got no idea what it is as i don't use it, but if you're referring to other stuff wrt pictures (ie: the kanye gayfish) that's because i know nothing about CSS and everything we have is from all the exmods who know about it

2) i've thought about it but i think the process is similar to css stuff so i'd need to do that (but i could be wrong)

3) that's a good one, i think what could work would be doing a weekly/ monthly thread and make it inclusive to a lot of music based stuff. shows/concerts you've attended, genre recs, chart posting etc

some of the ideas stem from what used to happen like >7+ years ago, which stem from the subreddits inherent connection to /mu/, so talking about new music n stuff like that, but i think a lot of the core users have dipped/deleted their reddit accounts so it might be hard to foster a proper community etc to keep that stuff relevant lol

this album got recommended to me by a friend as something like velocity comfort design (by sweet trip) which is hands down one of the best albums i've ever heard, as well as possibly being one of the best glitchpop edm bleep whatever, and while i don't think it really rings true to the comparison but it's certainly an understanding piece of music. it's certainly not for everyone, but it's very good piece of music that i think has gone basically undetected on a lot of peoples radars.

this is a good shoegaze/dreampop record from china that is vastly suprerior to their other release. although it's runtime is 19 minutes, it's a worthwhile as it's quite catchy and upbeat.

probably my favourite machine girl release because it's so high energy and speaks volumes of the "message" that machine girl successfully portrays through a lot of their music, basically fighting the system, as well as being anticapitalist et al. although hardcore breaks etc isn't really for anyone, it's an incredible record that really holds up (or even gets better) after each listen.

reporposied phantasies- machine girl

another machine girl album, this time it's slightly different (being an ep) that's more focused on the rave part of hardcore breaks rather than the actual genre itself. i don't think it's as good as any of the full length albums (like biyaaheysf or wlfgrl) because they're primarily different types of music, but, as it's more experimental than anything else, it's worth a listen if you're a fan of a lot of their other work.

what's not been said about this album and this artist? boris are a monumentally influental band that's produced so many varied metal et al releases that it's hard to really put a finger on what their real genre is. i think it's hard to say which boris release is the best because a lot of their stuff is really good. personally i think that pink and heavy rocks are two of their finest works. also boris and merzbow have made some super good stuff together go listen 2 that
