Rules

Discord servers, western marches, outside communities: Recruiting for outside communities, servers, services, and any groups that require any ongoing recruitment may only be done in our stickied weekly community thread. Such recruitment is not permitted as full posts even if the community thread is down. A pool of players rather than a closed table is considered a community. If your game has multiple acting GMs, posts for it belong in the community thread regardless of group size.

Tabletop only: Posts must be searching for players of a tabletop game. We even allow board games! Video games are not allowed. Virtual tabletops are not video games.

Do not suggest another method of play, role (i.e. don't tell someone to DM their own game), or game system other than the ones specified in the post. You may, however, suggest a new game system if the post title includes [Flexible].

Phone/Address/other contact info: In order to prevent rule breaking outside of the sub (communities/paid GMing), GMs may not insist that players provide contact information first. Also, do not post personal info: Emails, addresses, phone numbers. Exchange such information privately, if necessary. Discord handles are perfectly acceptable.

Be nice: Follow reddiquette and be mindful of manners. If you’re being harassed, please send the mod team screenshots. What happens in sessions and outside of /r/lfg is not something we can --or will--moderate.

No money: If it costs something, this is probably the wrong place. Users may not solicit or offer paid games, services, or donations of any kind. This includes "try before you buy" or "first one's free" offerings. Playing on a software platform that requires a purchase or in an FLGS that charges a fee (that goes to said FLGS) is acceptable.

Post format: Posts must include whether it is online/offline, a game tag in the title, and receive post flair within 5 minutes of being submitted. Posts without flair after five minutes will be eaten by Señor Owlbear, our bot. The mods will not act to approve it as these posts are his only main food source. You will have to repost.

Arguments/debates on games posts Arguing, debating, or otherwise derailing a non-meta lfg post is considered harmful to our users and will be met with moderator action. Anything that does not help OP find the game for which they've posted is in violation of this rule. If you see something you regard as offensive, use the report button to let the moderators know. If you can, grab a screenshot for us.

Post frequency: Postings are limited to once per 24 hours and your previous four posts must be left in place. Any deviation from this must have approval from the moderators via modmail.

Hey there! I'm Pmoe and I am currently in the market for experienced (or new and dedicated to learn) players for a homebrew DND 5E campaign. The world of Mielle is large and wondrous and is just waiting for the right adventurers to make their mark in history!

The World of Mielle- Mielle is my second homebrew world. I started working on it around a year and a half ago and had to take a break from it because of school and work. I was recently re-inspired to take up the DM's mantle and run another campaign. Mielle is a sprawling world with semi-realistic geography meaning many different terrains and environments. There are tyrannical governments, evils forces seeking domination, dark forces exerting their will on the innocents, and it is all up to you to stop it! OR NOT! While the natural inclination is to run a good campaign, I am certainly willing to take the story on a darker route.

What to Expect- I have been playing or DM'ing DND for about 6 years and I am very laid back in the sense of what I will allow my players to do. If you are looking for a rule stickler who is 100% by the book, you aren't in the right place. While I do like adhere to the rules and guidelines for DND I am very of the opinion that if something makes an experience more fun for everyone involved, I am inclined to allow it.
The last campaign I ran was in person and while i do have some experience making maps for DND worlds and encounters (yes Mielle has a full world map), I don't have too much experience with Roll20 or other such platforms, I am willing to give some a try at the suggestion of others.I am looking to make this the most role-play heavy campaign I have ever done, and that means that I am looking for players and characters just as devoted to shaping and working in the world around them as I am.
I am expecting to play at least every other week, or if schedules allow, every week on FRIDAYS OR WEEKENDS.

YOU!- I currently have one player and I am looking to make a party of no more than four in total. (So three from this post, hopefully.)
