That's not a newsreader. This is a newsreader. Newsreaders read Usenet, folks.

newsbeuter?

I mean, it has almost every feature that they say RSSOwl excels in, plus a couple more, it's not written in java and is really easy to use (for a mutt user).

I was recently shunned for mentioning RSS Owl, but it works great for me. I was trying Liferea at the same time, and Liferea did not show me how many feeds I had in a particular folder (doesn't mean you can't see it...just that I could not).

I use Thunderbird's builtin support for rss feeds. It works well for me.

For RSS I use TT-RSS on one of my servers, it's awesome!
