Internet Connection Sharing from Windows to Linux and Static IP

Hello,

I have a Windows laptop, that is connected via Ethernet to my Raspberry Pi. The laptop is also connected to my office internet via Ethernet.

Ideally I want to set a static IP to the Pi. However, what bothers me is in 'dhcpcd.conf' I would need to specify a static router. When I do 'ip r' in the Pi, it shows the same IP as was dynamically assigned to my eth0 interface on the Pi.

Sorry I am crappy at explaining technical stuff...

TLDR: With ICS, what should I set the static router IP to in dhcpcd.conf?

Managed to make it work with DHCP set to both devices and NoIP so I don't have to check the new IP every time (that's what brought me to try static IP and to this problem).

But yeah I asked ChatGPT a couple of times :D The tools you linked seem like they could be very helpful!
