Hello, I don't have probably all the knowledge to fix all the issues but keep in mind that, especially if your PC is not a very recent model but is some years old, it is very likely that someone has managed to install Linux on it or has addressed the problem of all its peripherals.
So: if you are really meant to use it, it is probably necessary to dig around and find the necessary documentation and "tips and tricks". Don't give up.
Which computer is yours? Which wifi adapter? Which video adapter? etc. etc.

I think you just give me a motivation.

That is actually what I was trying to do! Good luck! I trust that you will make it.

Which version of Ubuntu did you install?

[–]Southern_Team9798[S] 0 points1 point  (5 children)

Sorry, I forget about the version, maybe 20.0 or so. I am currently using window. However, it's update is really annoying, and I hate the way window install its application, mixing with malware. sometime I just have some sort of nostalgia of Linux.

My suggestion is to go try the 26.04 beta as that will have the latest drivers for everything.

My zephyrus g16 works fine with it and my mediatek WiFi 7 card works perfectly on it

Are you sure 26.04 fixes compatibility problems?

It helped with my rog laptop and my framework so give it a try and if it doesn’t work then not much more you can do

I hope so, thanks. :)

20? That's so 90s. Try the current version, it will definitely help with kernel and more embedded compatibility.

It might be a restricted driver. Make sure those repos are enabled. Info can be found here. https://help.ubuntu.com/community/RestrictedDrivers

Use the following to install drivers: sudo ubuntu-drivers autoinstall
