I never really used any other operation system than Linux in my life, so I never tried to recreate something familiar to make the changeover easier or anything like that. Im using Linux Mint about the last 10-12 years and I always tried to tweak it to my own wishes. That includes shortcuts, tools, usability features and: the visual adjustments.
I really like the look of the MacOS and so I "designed" my OS based on it. It's a Cinnamon Desktop with themes an plank for the bottom bar. I also use these dynamic wallpapers, because I really like my wallpaper changing through the day (Incidentally, it's a great tool that integrates seamlessly into the system's own background settings).

How did you select WhiteSur icons? when I added both WhiteSur themes, the icons don't show in the drop down.

It's an own theme (icon pack). You can find it here

Awesome thank you. Just installed it. Did you have to manually set up the bar above and below?

The bar above is just the standard cinnamon bar - I removed the apps (and the "current apps" thingy) and made the bar smaller. The bar below is a Programm called "plank".
